With digital office hardware and software prices continuing to soar, there’s a growing demand for more efficient, flexible office equipment and office furniture.
It’s an important part of our culture.
Digital Office Furniture and Office Accessories is a new report by the Australian Financial Services Council.
The report looks at the business of digital office items, as well as the products, services and brands that make up digital office.
What it shows is that the digital office is the new home of office furniture, but it’s not the only home for office furniture in Australia.
There are also a few other areas where the digital environment is a key driver for innovation and business success, according to the report.
For example, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported that office furniture increased at an average rate of 3.7 per cent per year from 2011-12 to 2020-21.
While it’s true that office chairs and desktops have increased in price, it’s also important to note that digital office products are increasingly available for use in both work and leisure settings.
A good place to start when looking at digital office product options is the category of office chairs.
Research has found that office chair use has increased more than fivefold over the last five years, from 3.3 per cent of people in 2011-2012 to 25 per cent in 2020-22.
So there’s lots of potential here for more digital office chairs to become the future of office chair design.
As well as office furniture that can be used in both offices and leisure environments, there are also the various forms of office accessories such as office chairs, table legs and desks.
Digital office accessories are becoming a more popular option for office use in Australia, according the report, with the number of office items available increasing at an annual rate of 6.1 per cent.
That means that there’s an increase in office furniture sales for the first time since 2009-10, when the number was around 4.2 per cent, according data from the Australian Productivity Commission.
With digital office item prices rising and increasing, it might be a good time to think about your options and the opportunities you have to be the best digital office company.
