Brooklyn, N.Y. — A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning, police said, after he allegedly attacked an office equipment store and an employee at a Brooklyn home.
Brooklyn Police said that at about 4 a.m. a man with a knife entered a home on Halsey Street and confronted an employee who was working at the store.
The man allegedly stabbed the employee in the stomach.
Police said the employee, a white male, was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition.
The store employee was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds with a shaved head, white skin, and black hair.
Police said the store is owned by the same owner, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Brooklyn police are investigating whether the man with the knife entered the store armed with a gun, but did not elaborate.
No arrests have been made and police were asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
